Job Title: Social Media Assistant
Job Summary: JTM Digital, a professional digital marketing agency located in Rockville, Maryland, is seeking a talented Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic and passionate team. As a Social Media Assistant, you will work closely with our social media team to help manage and execute social media campaigns for our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in social media and be able to work collaboratively with our team to deliver innovative and effective digital marketing solutions.
Job Duties:
● Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns
● Create and curate social media content (e.g., posts, graphics, videos) for various social media platforms
● Schedule social media posts using social media management tools
● Monitor social media platforms for engagement opportunities and respond to comments and messages
● Track and report on social media metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns
● Conduct research on social media trends and best practices
● Stay up-to-date on social media algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field1-2 years of experience in social media management or related field
● Knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Red)
● Strong writing and communication skills
● Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer)
● Understanding of social media analytics and reporting
● Ability to work collaboratively with a team
● Excellent time management and organizational skills
● Strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
● Experience in graphic design and/or video editing
● Experience with paid social media advertising
● Familiarity with social media influencer marketing
● Passion for food and/or photography

Job Type:
● Monday to Friday
○ Internship: 20 or 40 hours per week (part-time/full-time internship). Three month internship period with a potential offer to turn into a full- time job
○ Full-time position: 40 hours
● Hybrid: at least 2 days a week in the office (Rockville, Maryland)
